鮮烈なグリーンをベースに、ブラックのヤシの木、イエローからオレンジへと溶けていく夕焼け、そして水辺のシルエットを大胆に落とし込んだOCEAN CURRENTの半袖オープンカラーシャツ。

まず目を引くのは、服全体を1枚のキャンバスのように使った圧倒的なグラフィック。
上部には鮮やかなグリーン、中央には巨大なパームツリーのブラックシルエット、下部には黄・橙・赤のグラデーション。単純なアロハ柄ではなく、南国の夕暮れをそのまま切り取ったような構成。
特にヤシの木が身頃を跨ぐように大きく配置されているため、着用した際の存在感がかなり強い。

襟は開きの綺麗なオープンカラー／キャンプカラー型。首元に抜けが生まれるため、大柄のシャツでも重たく見えにくく、90年代らしいリラックスしたシルエットとよく合っています。
このシャツの大きな魅力。
レーヨン特有の柔らかさと落ち感があり、身体に沿って自然にドレープが出ます。コットンのアロハシャツに比べると生地が滑らかで、動いたときの揺れ方も軽やか。
プリントの発色とも相性がよく、グリーン・イエロー・オレンジの色がかなり綺麗に映えています。
フロントにはブラウン系のボタンを使用。グラフィックの強さに対してボタン自体は主張しすぎず、全体をヴィンテージらしい雰囲気にまとめています。
さらにこちらは韓国製。90年代頃のアメリカ系カジュアルブランドでは韓国生産のシャツも見られ、当時の生産背景を感じられるポイントです。

Description
A standout vintage tropical shirt from OCEAN CURRENT featuring a bold sunset and palm-tree graphic across the entire body.
The upper section is finished in vivid green, while oversized black palm trees stretch across the chest and body. Toward the hem, the colours transition into yellow, orange and red, creating a dramatic tropical sunset effect.
Unlike a traditional small-scale Hawaiian print, this design functions almost like one large piece of artwork spread across the garment.
The shirt features a relaxed open collar that gives it a classic 1990s resort and surfwear appearance.
According to the label, the fabric is 100% rayon.
Rayon gives the shirt a soft, smooth hand and excellent drape, allowing the fabric to move naturally when worn. It also helps the bright green, yellow and orange colours appear particularly vibrant.
Brown-toned buttons provide a subtle vintage contrast against the highly graphic body.
