ぱっと見はシンプル。
けれど近くで見ると、じわじわと良さが効いてくる。
そんな派手じゃないのに妙にかっこいいタイプの1着。
こちらは Levi’s Red Tab のジップウエスタンシャツ。
ベースカラーは、白でもカーキでもなく、そのちょうど間を縫うような
乾いたベージュ〜サンドカラー系の色味。
この色が本当に絶妙で、アメリカ古着らしい土っぽさを持ちながら、
どこか都会的で、無骨すぎず、上品にも転べる表情を持っています。
ディテールはしっかりウエスタン。
襟の鋭い形、胸元の切り替え、フラップ付きポケット、そして背面のヨークまで、ウエスタンシャツらしい骨格が丁寧に入っています。

ただし、通常のスナップボタンフロントではなく、こちらはフロントジップ仕様。
この1点で見え方がぐっと変わっていて、
クラシックなウエスタンの空気に、ややモードっぽい直線的な印象が差し込まれています。
さらに良いのが、ポケットフラップや袖口に付いた
ピラミッド型の装飾スタッズ。
この小さなディテールがあることで、単なるベーシックシャツでは終わらず、
少しロックっぽく、少し70sっぽく、少し尖ったムードが生まれています。
ただ主張が強すぎないので、コーデに入れた時にうるさくならず、
“ちゃんと雰囲気はあるのに、使いやすい”というバランスが魅力。

写真からも分かる通り、テロっとした薄手シャツではなく、
少ししっかりしたコットンツイル〜ダック寄りの質感が感じられます。

1番の魅力は、この服が持っている砂っぽい色気だと思います。
カリッとした白シャツの綺麗さとも違い、
濃いデニムシャツの無骨さとも違う。
少し乾いていて、少し色褪せたようなニュアンスのある色が、
着る人を妙に大人っぽく見せてくれます。
ラフに羽織るだけでもサマになり、
ボトム次第でアメカジにも、古着ミックスにも、ちょっと品のあるスタイルにも振れる。
こういう服は、地味に見えて、実はかなり頼れるやつです。

The tone sits somewhere between cream, khaki, and faded tan, giving it a dry, dusty, almost sun-washed feel.
That color alone makes the shirt special: it carries the toughness of American casual wear, but with a softer, more refined mood.
The design is strongly rooted in western shirt detailing.
The pointed collar, shaped yokes, flap chest pockets, and back yoke all speak the language of classic western wear.
